　On behalf of the Toshiba Machine Group, we would like to acknowledge our high appreciation for your loyal patronage of Toshiba Machine and are pleased to announce our next "Toshiba Machine Group Solution Fair" which will be held from May 19 (Thu.) to May 21 (Sat.) this year. We solicit your participation and, as every year, welcome your visit during the Solution Fair.

　The theme of this year's fair is "The Challenge to Promising Future: Contributing to Manufacturing for the Next Generation through Our Cutting-Edge Technologies." At the fair, we will demonstrate our cutting-edge technologies, new products and solutions designed to ensure a "promising future" in an ever expanding wide range of fields, including optics, nanotechnology, electronics and information technology, energy and environment, as well as automobiles, aircraft and transport vehicles.

　With the diverse solutions created from our rich product lineup, including injection molding machines, die-casting machines, plastic extrusion machines, micro-pattern imprinting machines, high-precision machines, machine tools, industrial robots, control systems, casting and machining processes, retrofitting and after-sales services, as well as IoT technology to link them and system engineering to integrate them all; we will help you to boost your productivity and benefits. Visitors to the fair will be able to view our efforts as we help solve the problems the market currently faces.

　The Japanese economy has recently been performing well as a whole under current economic conditions, while the world economy has been variable and unstable with many unpredictable factors. To cope up with this situation, it is essential we exert extra efforts in the fields of "Energy and Environment", "Increasing productivity", "Responses to new materials", and promotion of "IoT". New projects in the field of IoT technology, reduction of labor using robots and other techniques, are now actively being pursued especially in Japan. Within that environment, it has become more important than ever for business operators to make inroads into growing markets more quickly through various efforts, such as releasing more products to meet the needs of the global market and developing new technologies in response to the introduction of new materials and business fields.
