Kuramae Science Class

Kuramae Science Class

Kuramae Kogyo-kai (a general incorporated association) is engaged in a wide range of activities intended to arouse interest in science among children, including offering on-site small classes on scientific principles across the country. By providing support for their "Kurarika" class, we support their activities for nurturing children who may become scientists in the future. In FY2022, former members of Shibaura Machine served as instructors in Shizuoka Prefecture, holding 36 workshops in which children actually put together monitors, experiencing the joy of manufacturing and learning about how electricity works.

Our retirees led the class. The children gained hands-on knowledge about the characteristics of electricity and enjoyed the class. They learned how a motor works and assembled a motor on the spot.
