We constantly gather and analyze data on environmental load from our business activities, including product development, manufacturing, and services, and vigorously pursue its reduction.

Environmental load from the entire supply chain

Since fiscal 2015, we have estimated and calculated CO₂ emissions from our entire supply chain in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of the Environment (※1). (※2)

Effective use of resources

We aim to reduce the waste discharged from domestic factories down to a final disposal volume of 1% or less and at the same time, in the 2nd environment action, we target 38% reduction from the base year in 2024.

In FY2024, the discharged volume amounted to 2,825t, an increase of about 140t from that of FY2023. This amounts to 1.67t / hundred million yen in terms of the intensity assessment, a decrease of 0.5 % from that of FY2023, which was 1.68t / hundred million yen. *3
