Client Whistleblowing System
The Client Whistleblowing System ("the Hotline") has been created so that if SHIBAURA MACHINE Group members or related parties commit or are suspected of violating laws, regulations, the Shibaura Machine Group Code of Conduct, the Shibaura Machine Group Procurement Policy, transaction agreements, corporate ethics, or other compliance violations related to procurement or other transactions, these actual or suspected violations can be reported to the Group so that we may deal with the issue appropriately.
If SHIBAURA MACHINE members or related parties commit compliance violations in the course of transactions such as procurement, or if there are suspicions that they have done so, please inform us via the Hotline. Please refrain from using the Hotline for unrelated matters (such as abuse or defamation of individuals).
We will conduct fact-finding investigations, etc., regarding any reported matter and, as a general rule, inform the whistleblower of the results of our investigation. (We may not contact whistleblowers when the reports concern matters that are unrelated to compliance violations.) Personal information concerning whistleblowers will not be disclosed to anyone other than Hotline operators (the hotline contact point is the Internal Auditing Department) and Hotline-related personnel without the permission of the whistleblower. Personal information concerning whistleblowers will not be used for any purposes other than making inquiries of or replying to the whistleblower without the permission of the whistleblower.
The contents of whistleblowing reports will be handled with care, and only the minimal amount of information required for conducting fact-finding investigations, etc., will be disclosed to persons other than Hotline-related personnel. Furthermore, care will be taken to prevent persons other than Hotline-related personnel from being able to identify whistleblowers through fact-finding investigations, etc.
SHIBAURA MACHINE will not subject whistleblowers or the companies for whom they work to adverse treatment as a result of whistleblowing.
Whistleblowing reporting form
The personal information of whistleblowers will be protected using encryption. Please note that in rare cases, browsers may not support the SSL encryption protocol, or company firewalls etc. may not be configured to support SSL. In these cases, the reporting form page will not be accessible.
