Toshiba Machine has enhanced the New Small-Size Vertical Articulated Robot TVL series, targeting the EMS in the emerging market

We have expanded the product variations by adding theTVL700 to the low cost compact vertical articulated robot TVL series
The TVL series is developed mainly for EMS (ElectronicsManufacturing Service, who contract manufacturing service of electronicsdevices), targetingthe assembly process and automatization of the test process and transferringwork of electronics devices (PC, tablet, etc.) and can contribute to theautomatization and quality improvement of the production sites.

Theseries satisfies both the industry-leading motion performance (standard cycletime: TVL500, 0.3 seconds; TVL700, 0.4 seconds) and the low price (reduction of to 30% compared to our conventional models). -
Enhancedconvenience
As the standard features,service tap holess and Tgrooves on the first arm are provided that can be used to fix externaldevices such as a pneumatic apparatus and wiring, With these, convenience for system integrationis improved.
Also,the robot can be installed by sideways tap holes. -
Manyoptions available
Thepositions of the I/O panel can be selected from 3 types according to the customers' usage environment. Furthermore, options such as dust-proof,drip-proof, etc. are available to correspond to the customer' usage purpose andenvironment. -
New Controller
TSL3100, the new, cost-effective vertical articulated robotcontroller is used.
At the Toshiba Machine Group Solution Fair 2015 to be held fromThursday, May 21 to Saturday, May 23, as an examples proposals, a series ofmanufacturing processes, from picking up bulk workpieces of printed circuit boardparts to assembling (screwing, etc.) and testing the boards, automated bysystems combining our TVL series and SCARA Robot THL series, will be exhibited.
