The high precision dicing machine USM-6E for SiC (silicon-carbon) power devices, which we unveiled in December last year, has been awarded a Japan Society of Industry Machinery Manufacturers Award in the 41st Machine Design Awards hosted by Nikkan Kogyo Shinbun.
 In this award, the producer goods were comprehensively evaluated in various terms such as exterior design, features, performance, and color harmony. This time, our machine was valued for its easy-to-use features and the design that makes users really want to use it.

In a conventional designing phase, because the exterior design is determined after the main functions are determined, machine design should be planer and box shaped for the purpose of easy designing. This time, while taking account of the concept of home electric appliances, we realized a futuristic style without affecting high stiffness and high precision machinery features.

We have received good reviews on the design of our machines, and now keep working towards developing new commercial models with such a stylish design.
